Disclaimer & Fair Use Notice

Last updated: September 2026

1. “As Is” Service Provision

All tools, converters, utilities, and software provided on MediaConvertKit are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to maintain top conversion fidelity, we do not guarantee that file conversions will be completely error-free or that all corrupted or proprietary codecs can be decoded.

2. Device Performance & RAM Constraints

Because conversions execute inside your local browser tab via WebAssembly and HTML5 Canvas, conversion speed and stability are directly dependent on your device's CPU and available system RAM. For files exceeding 500 MB or 4K video clips, we strongly advise using a desktop computer with a modern 64-bit browser (such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge).

3. User Responsibility & Backups

Users should always maintain original backup copies of their important files prior to running any compression or format transformation. MediaConvertKit is not liable for data loss or corruption resulting from client-side crashes, battery exhaustion, or browser tab termination during processing.

4. Third-Party Trademarks

Product names, logos, brands, and other trademarks featured or referred to within this website (including MP3, MP4, Apple, QuickTime, Microsoft, Word, PDF, Adobe) are the property of their respective trademark holders. Reference to these formats does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.
